When running for President in 1988, Joe Biden lied about having marched in the civil rights movement. The other day, he lied about being arrested in South Africa trying to see Nelson Mandela.
Like Trump, the man is a pathological liar and a sociopath.
But the major difference between the two is that Biden would, like George Bush or Obama, be a manageable puppet of the oligarchy; and thus he doesn’t get the same negative media treatment as the unpredictable, brash, Trump!
Biden would be a loyal, predictable servant of US Empire.

Remainiacs helped screw us all
Remainers who supported the campaign for a second referendum - was it really worth prioritising that we remain in an anti-democratic wannabe Empire that is fuelling the far-right both in Europe and abroad (eg supporting US coups in Latin America), over seeking an anti-fascist, anti-imperialist, anti-racist, anti-capitalist Labour government, to rule the world’s fifth largest economy? (Which could’ve had a profound impact on the world!).
Sadly, I think doing so has helped lead us to where we are today, with a hard Brexit and Tory rule now set in stone for the foreseeable.

Democracy + Billionaires = Impossible
Via an unprecedented PR campaign, racist billionaire Mike Bloomberg may well fool enough people into voting against their interests, and thus win enough delegates to prevent Bernie Sanders from winning the primary outright.
Millions of exploited workers have gotten involved in politics, donating what small amount of money they have to the Sanders campaign, only for one of their billionaire exploiters to come along and screw them some more, denying them healthcare, dignity, hope.
America is a totalitarian oligarchy, not a democracy.

The 'free press' are gatekeepers for the powerful, as shown by their treatment of Assange
In the ‘free and democratic’ UK, a journalist sits behind bulletproof glass, unable to speak to his lawyers, psychologically tortured, denied freedom for 10 years, denied medical care, persecuted for publishing facts about the powers that be; for unveiling corruption and war criminality.
Where’s the outrage from other journalists? Nowhere to be seen, because, unlike Wikileaks, the main function of the media organisations that they work for is to manufacture public consent for the very criminality that Assange is being persecuted for exposing. Hence their 10-year long disinformation campaign against him.
We have an illusion of free speech and opposition in our 'liberal democracies'. The media’s role is to gate-keep for the powerful, not to seriously challenge them - how can it when it is owned by them?
Real dissent that seriously threatens the plutocracy is not allowed. At best, you end up smeared (like Jeremy Corbyn) or ignored. At worst, you end up imprisoned like Assange - or bombed/sanctioned, if you’re in a disobedient country that does not want to be ruled and plundered by western corporations.
Read Craig Murray's blog for updates re Assange's extradition hearing - a 'show-trial', as Murray calls it.

Coronavirus - capitalist countries cannot respond as China did
I’m confused by the forecasts of Coronavirus becoming a pandemic that will infect billions of people, given that the number of new cases is already falling in China?
Is it fear-mongering, or is it true, and due to other countries being shit at handling this kind of thing, compared to China?
I wonder how many people in the US who’re already struggling to survive, working pay-check to pay-check, will catch the virus, but then go to work anyway and spread it about, because they can’t afford not to. Capitalism is only interested in short term profit, and there’s no money to be made in preventing the spread of a virus. (Plenty of opportunity to profit off the vaccine though!).
Does our current system make it impossible to implement the necessary collective response to a crisis like this? Government too powerless, corrupt, and senseless? For starters, if there was any sense in the US, they’d immediately drop the sanctions on Iran, which are hampering their efforts to contain the virus. (...if there was any sense in the US, there would be no sanctions in the first place!).
Here is US politician, Nancy Pelosi, saying that a future vaccine for the virus must be 'affordable'. Not free, just affordable. The richest country on earth won't even give their already poverty-stricken populace a free vaccine against a deadly virus, because profit trumps sanity and humanity. Capitalism is evil.

US media actually less awful that UK media?
Several Democratic candidates, including Bernie Sanders, have refused to attend an AIPAC conference. (AIPAC is a huge lobby group for Israeli interests).
In the UK, you now get smeared as antisemitic, by both ‘liberal’ and far-right media, just for mentioning the existence of Israeli lobby groups!
But so far, these candidates have not faced such a reaction for going much further than that, and actually boycotting them, (from liberal media at least).
It seems UK media is even more atrocious than US media! Which is really saying something. Or is it just that they can’t get away with it, given that Bernie is Jewish?

Some 9/11 first responders discover that healthcare can be free
Watch here.
Those awful Cubans, giving free healthcare to their people, AND to those from the country that’s been attacking them for 50+ years. Bastards!
Skip to 15:00 to see one of the 9/11 responder’s reaction to discovering that the medication she pays $120 for in the US, is just 5 cents in Cuba. And to 17:30 for another responder’s reaction to finding out that healthcare can be free.
It’s devastating. Most people living under capitalism aren’t even aware of how incredibly exploited they are, because they’re fed a diet of corporate propaganda from cradle to grave. Such an evil system!

Ignorant liberal yanks
Here is the deranged tweet of a typically arrogant, ignorant, exceptionalist yank.
He thinks Castro brought the world to the brink of nuclear war by daring to overthrow a US-backed dictator, then defending his country from US assassination attempts and a land invasion. Wtf.
And it was the Americans - the only country ever to actually drop a nuclear bomb let’s not forget - who first put nukes in Turkey, pointed at Russia!
The US has spent the last 75 years destroying dissident countries, installing puppet tyrants, stealing resources, enslaving workers, imprisoning and persecuting people of colour, etc, and they literally nuked Japan to kick it all off.
Meanwhile, Castro... led a revolution that resisted all that.
Liberals, like the author of this tweet, have as little interest in reality and truth as the Donald Trumps of this world. And as little interest in peace. In some ways they are even worse - they have been attacking Trump from the right for years now, encouraging him to be even more aggressive towards Russia (than he already has been). And this is nothing new - read here.

Proper class war/left populism doing in the US what it failed to do in the UK
In the US, real left populism is on track to take on and beat fake right populism.
In the UK, centrist wrecking (and naive leadership) destroyed that left populism, resulting in a win for fake right populists, Farage & co.
Will US centrists now do the same? (As they did in 2016). Or will they finally accept that big change is needed?

Will 'The Resistance' choose Trump over Bernie?
Prepare for many ‘centrists' and much of the (neo)liberal media to go pro-Trump if Bernie Sanders wins the primary. They already have to an extent, given that stats show Bernie has the best shot at beating him, but they're all desperate for anyone but Bernie to win the primary.
Liberals pretty much always choose fascism over socialism.
And their anti-Trump stance has always mostly been a charade anyway. They've actually supported most of his worst policies, (and encouraged him to be even worse on some issues - like war). They mainly dislike him because he's an unpredictable embarrassment to the empire - but they'll most likely choose that over a bit of (really very mild) socialism.
Those who do decide to back Bernie over Trump, will now spend all their time trying to neutralise him, thus decreasing his chances of beating Trump.

Tony Blair a socialist?
'Tony Blair represented socialism in the real world of the 21st century'.
Call me a radical, but I prefer my socialism to not involve massacring Arabs for oil, nor the selling off of our country, including the NHS, to private corporations, to be exploited for profit.
Calling Tony Blair a socialist is similarly as absurd as calling the Nazis socialist. Those who say this are completely disconnected from reality, in a white/western-centric bubble of propaganda, oblivious to what socialism actually is, and oblivious to how despised their brand of politics is, by its victims at home and (especially) around the world!
We're in a populist moment. There is justified hatred of the establishment, following the wars, the financial crash, the class-war of austerity. Labour - despite constant attacks from the right and the centre - were briefly able to harness that sentiment, in 2017, but then were perceived as reneging on it, by backing a second referendum and by being too lenient to the centrists, (why the hell did John McDonnell do a cosy interview with Alastair Campbell just before the election?!).
So the fake populists of the right won.
Now is not the time to once again make our politics a choice between two sociopathic parties that serve the interests of the few. But it looks like that is where we are headed. Which means a bleak future for all.
Join Labour now and vote Rebecca Long-Bailey and Richard Burgon, for some hope of preventing that.

Centrist Democrats hate democracy
Last night, every centrist Democratic candidate effectively said they’d ignore the result of the primary if Bernie Sanders wins the popular vote, and would rather let the ‘super-delegates’ choose the winner.
There would be outrage from media if this was Venezuela. But abolishment of democracy is cool if it’s protecting the oligarchy.
(NB democracy didn’t actually get abolished in Venezuela. Quite the opposite).

Macron supports extremism abroad, now supposedly wants to tackle it at home
Having supported the monstrous Salafi insurgency in Syria for the last 9 years, Macron now wants to crack down on it back home.
(He doesn’t really. He’s just trying to appeal to the far-right, so he can get enough votes to stay in power and prevent socialism).
Psycho.

Reminder: Centrists gave us Boris Johnson and hard Brexit
Reminder: Centrists gave us Boris Johnson and hard Brexit. Had they united behind Corbyn and an agenda for a Finland-style social democracy, rather than spent their time constantly undermining/smearing him and that agenda, Labour would have won in 2017, with ease.
But now, they’re trying to rewrite history and blame it all on the left. Never mind that Labour’s vote declined hugely throughout the Blair years, and only shot back up again in that 2017 election, under Corbyn.
It was these centrist Blairites who, by their move away from socialism and towards Thatcherism - her ‘greatest legacy’ - destroyed the Labour Party. And they then did everything they could to prevent its rehabilitation, thus making it unelectable. Utter cretins.
Don’t let them and their media rewrite history! The planet NEEDS us to not let them do that!

Industrialised food system impairs brain function
Researchers find a western-style diet can impair brain function.
Our horrific food system is inefficient, responsible for destroying lives and communities all over the world, extremely destructive environmentally, and highly damaging for body and soul.
But as long as the wealthy can profit off that system, and as long as they can afford to eat healthily, I guess that’s all that matters. The planet be damned, and everyone else can eat cheap, processed shit, get sick, and then pay a fortune for drugs so those wealthy few can get wealthier still. All good!

Those who equate the 'far left' with the far right, are the problem
Extreme ‘centrists’ like Andrew Adonis, who fuel the rise of the overt far-right with neoliberal economics, and who constantly attack the left, equating anti-racists with racists, peace-mongers with warmongers, social democrats with neo-fascists, are our greatest enemy and obstacle to securing a peaceful, civilised future.
Corbyn was far too kind to these people. Enormous mistake.

Never been clearer that the US is an oligarchy
Following in Trump’s footsteps, another racist, billionaire oligarch - Mike Bloomberg - is currently buying his way to the US presidency. Elites can see the rise of grassroots movements, and are getting desperate - just being puppet-masters is no longer cutting it, it seems.
This time, the billionaire buying his way into politics is doing so in the Democratic Party, exposing more than ever the reality that the US really has just the one party - the party of oligarchy.
He’s spending unprecedented amounts on his PR. I literally can’t look at my phone, mac or TV without seeing his face.
As has always been the case - when billionaires meddle in elections, to rig the system in their favour, it is a totally acceptable thing. Little outrage from media. Apparently some dumb memes from Russia are a far greater threat to the American people.
And it’s working - Bloomberg is second behind Bernie Sanders in some polls now. Even if he doesn’t win, he may well take enough votes/delegates to prevent Sanders from doing so.
Millions of working class Americans, long exploited by the billionaire class, have emptied their pockets donating to a movement for change, led by Sanders, but now one of those billionaires has come along to screw them again!
Please if anyone ever tries to tell you that the US is a democracy, laugh at them. It is an oligarchy.

Proponents of the west's bogus 'war on terror' attack China for (genuinely) fighting terror
Those who waged a bogus ‘war on terror’- which was really a global war for oil/hegemony, and which literally killed millions of Muslims - are now condemning (and I imagine, making shit up about), what the Chinese government is doing in Xinjiang following a series of horrific Wahhabi terror attacks.
And let’s not forget that those in the west who’re doing this accusing and condemning, are the same people who’re chiefly responsible for spreading that Wahhabism, by direct support for its adherents (the Syrian ‘rebels’ etc), and by all those oil wars which obviously led to radicalization.
So. Fucked. Up.
I am not saying the PRC is innocent - this podcast seems to give a balanced account of the government's actions towards the Uyghurs - but they are most definitely not wreaking the kind of havoc that NATO states did after terrorist attacks. (Terrorism which they ultimately caused by supporting the Wahhabi Mujahideen in the 1980s, which led to the formation of al Qaeda, don’t forget). China is not using the threat as an excuse to embark on imperialist wars.
Any outraged western politician, or media commentator who works for an outlet that manufactured consent for the bloody havoc of the ‘war on terror’, and who now proclaims to know the truth about what is going on in China, and is supposedly outraged by it, can piss right off!
It’s laughable really, that any westerner feels they have any right to judge China for anything.

Myth-Busting
Some myth-busting and uncomfortable truths. (A work in progress that I will update as and when anything comes to mind):
NATO is an aggressive military alliance, whose purpose is to advance the hegemony of western capital.
Russia acts defensively, and did not ‘invade’ Crimea. Crimeans voted to rejoin Russia following a US-backed coup in Ukraine in collusion with neo-Nazis. Nor did Russia invade Georgia, or Syria. An EU court ruled that Georgia was responsible for what happened there, and in Syria, Russia intervened, (at request of the UN-recognised government), in order to prevent extremist sectarian groups from taking over a country on their doorstep. Ultimately all of this is a result of NATO expansion and aggression.
China is not a threat to peace - the US is.
The US is not a force for good in the world; it doesn’t care about your ‘freedom’, only about the freedom for western capitalists to profit. Millions killed in that pursuit.
China is developing in a FAR less violent, less inhumane manner, than western powers did. It is not as yet acting imperially on the world stage - it is not waging wars/installing puppet regimes, etc. And it is being FAR more environmentally responsible.
China is not a free market capitalist state. It's economy is centrally managed by a socialist government, and industry is about 50% government-owned. A mixed economy.
Venezuela has a democratically elected, social democratic government.
Western 'liberal' politicians frequently support far-right movements across Latin America and elsewhere.
Jeremy Corbyn was the closest the UK ever came to having a decent, anti-racist, uncorrupt, compassionate PM.
Assad isn’t ‘gassing his own people’. He and the majority of Syrians have been resisting a sectarian insurgency of 'rebel' groups ideologically similar to al Qaeda, who have been backed by the US/NATO and proxy states in the region, with $billions of support. This is nothing new - extremist jihadist groups have often been allies of the west. Support for the Mujahideen in Afghanistan in the 1980s, resulted in the formation of al Qaeda.
Anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism
Israel is the aggressor. Palestine, the victim.
Hezbollah is an anti-imperialist resistance group.
We have a billionaire-run media, not a ‘free press’.
Julian Assange is in prison for exposing the corruption/criminality of the powerful; for doing real journalism.
The west does not care about international law. Western leaders instead talk of a 'rules based system', to appear as though they do.
The west has installed/supported fascists all around the world.
Africa is not poor - western capitalists/corporations steal its wealth.
The ‘Cold War’ was more like a war waged by the west against any progressive, anti-capitalist, independence movement for democracy. It was very hot for millions of people.
Capitalism is the opposite of democracy; it is the handing over of our lives and resources to a small clique, to be exploited for profit.
Barack Obama, like Trump, is extremely corrupt, and a war criminal.
The NHS is being intentionally destroyed and replaced with an insurance system.
Capitalism is keeping a billion+ people poor and undernourished, and is destroying the environment.
Humans are naturally good and cooperative, not greedy.
America was to blame for the Cuban Missile Crisis.
The industrial food system is not just destructive to nature, our health, and farmer's livelihoods - it is also inefficient; Small farms take up just 25% of farmland, but feed 75% of the world's population.
Globalisation is destroying the planet, not keeping peace.

Will 'centrists' ever stop ruining our lives and planet?
Read here and here.
We should be putting a lot of blame on the arrogant ‘centre’ for our current situation. They abandoned the left in the 1980s, jumping on board with neoliberalism, and then following the inevitable chaos created by that neoliberalism, they refused to accept responsibility and come back to the left.
If they had done this - instead of constantly attacking, smearing and undermining the left, as they did in the 1980s, and as they did again these last few years - Labour would have won the general election in 2017, with ease.
But no, Nordic-style social democracy is ‘too extreme’!
It should be quite clear who the real extremists are.

The liberal 'left' fears being exposed
The liberal ‘left’ despises the likes of Bernie Sanders and Jeremy Corbyn.
Why? I think largely because they expose them for the fakes they’ve always been. They're embarrassed.
Supporting some gay rights at home does not make you a lefty, when you’re installing and supporting homophobic, far-right regimes/movements abroad; when you’re an economic extremist privatising everything including healthcare, thus demolishing democracy and creating an exploitative oligarchy; when you’re bombing people for oil; when you’re plundering the environment for profit, etc.
Here’s civil rights activist and Bernie Sanders supporter, Cornel West, calling out liberal god, Barack Obama.
The rise of a real leftist, grassroots movement might destroy Obama’s completely fake legacy as a human rights champion, (created by $billions of propaganda), and he/his corporate puppet-masters HATE the thought of it.
Their illusion is being shattered.

NYT's pick for President... good god
A presidential candidate for the Democrats who was officially endorsed by the New York Times has no idea who the president of Mexico is, one of only two countries that borders her own. Of course, she'd have no problem naming the leader of Canada...
Our leaders and media are in a racist world of their own.
Our system encourages and rewards ignorance/mindlessness/self-interest/conformity, putting those with these traits into positions of power to rule the empire. Nightmare!

The industrialized food system is both ecocidal AND inefficient
Not only is the industrialized, globalized, monopolized, for-profit, agricultural system destroying the environment, our health, farmer livelihoods - it seems it is also extremely inefficient.
This study finds that it is actually small farms that are feeding most of the world, and they are doing so with less than a quarter of all farmland!
But they get destroyed and monopolised, and the communities they provide for, devastated and enslaved, by rapacious, environmentally-horrific, and less efficient, giant agricultural corporations; so that a powerful few get rich at everyone else’s expense.
The planet is being destroyed, and lives ruined, because we gave up trying to have democracy, and instead gave even more power to sociopathic/ignorant elites, and predatory transnational corporations, making government powerless/corrupt.
We need democracy!
.....
Update: It is also making us infertile!

BBC's John Simpson denigrates those who want to reduce poverty
Gota love the 'impartiality' from BBC journalists. Read here.
Neoliberalism, with its exploitation, inequality and poverty = stability.
Wanting a fairer, more humane society, and thus voting for a leftist political party = succumbing to nasty evil populism.
What a prat!
It is establishment centrists like John who have helped enable the rise of the 'populist' right-wing, by absurdly equating that fake, racist, right-wing 'populism', with leftist populism that actually is trying to address the real root causes of our societal problems - including the rise of that 'populist' right-wing!

Keir Starmer - What are Labour members thinking?
Read here.
Who does Keir Starmer not like prosecuting? War criminals.
Who does Keir Starmer like prosecuting? Journalists who expose those war criminals. And also student protestors, and leftists.
This is the man who is probably going to replace Jeremy Corbyn as Labour leader.
It seems that Labour members have decided that for the left to win power again, we must no longer be the left. Sad, not only because it’s a total misdiagnosis as to why we lost, but also because the planet needs us to be radical. And because it’s just wrong - bland centrism won’t beat Johnson.
[CORRECTION: The above might not be true. Let's hope so).
...................
Keir Starmer is a member of the Trilateral Commission, an alliance of US/European/Japanese imperialists whose purpose is to advance the hegemony of western corporations and prevent democracy.
..................
Keir Starmer is undecided about whether or not we should bomb kids in Yemen, and about whether or not we should seriously address the climate crisis.
..................
Keir Starmer refuses to publish full list of donors before voting begins.
..................
Keir was literally head of the CPS as it conspired to extend the persecution of (multi-award winning, world-renowned journalist) Julian Assange.
When Sweden was going to drop the sexual assault investigation into Assange, Keir’s CPS persuaded them not to, telling Swedish prosecutors not to treat it as ‘just another extradition’.
But in an interview today, he says there’s no conspiracy going on against Assange!
Another lying sociopath like Blair for Labour leader? Great.
Also:
- sounds like he will follow America’s lead on China
- he has faith in our security services
- he wants Alastair Campbell back in the party. (Those who expose war criminals should face trial and potentially be extradited to the US for execution, whilst the war criminals should be welcomed into Labour, eh Keir?).
..................
Unlike Rebecca Long-Bailey (and Richard Burgon), Keir Starmer has not responded to Stop The War Coalition.
..................
Has Keir Starmer reached out to any new, independent media, or is he only doing interviews with the media outlets that just spent years waging a relentless smear campaign against Corbyn/Labour?

Centrists expose themselves again
Centrists continue to expose themselves, uniting with the far-right in Germany(!) to suppress the left. Fascism far preferable to socialism.
History repeating? Post WW1, the centrists in Germany supported the far-right's assassination of the revolutionaries, Rosa Parks and Karl Liebknecht. Helping to enable to eventual rise of the Nazis.

The west destroys democracy, not Russia
The narrative that ‘Russia is meddling in democracies around the world’ is just as much a load of bollocks now as it was during the ‘Cold War’.
Communist or capitalist, the west makes up shit about any state that dares to resist domination by western corporations/elites - it is them that meddle in and destroy democracy all around the world.
Having a bogeyman/fearful populace also helps to justify more authoritarian surveillance/censorship etc, thus helping to keep us ignorant and suppressed, so that the corporate plunder can continue. (And obviously it’s great for the arms industry).
Don’t be a useful idiot; don't join in with the constant Russophobia!

Western governments consistently oppose anti-Nazi resolutions at the UN
Every western government either voted No or abstained on these four anti-Nazi resolutions at the UN, between 2012 and 2015.
Every other country voted Yes.
Why would these countries oppose resolutions to resist Nazism? And how does it happen that these western countries tend to vote in unison, on all kinds of issues?
Might the answer to the first question have something to do with the fact that western states frequently support Nazis/fascists in the their agenda to expand US Empire? And then the answer to the second question obviously is that all these states are a part of that Empire; all these governments have been brought under the influence (to varying degrees) of the US/global elites.
Side note: Isn't it strange that many of these governments that are unsupportive of the anti-Nazi resolutions, are supportive of 'hate speech' laws domestically?

Democrats cheer on Trump's worst crimes at his State of The Union address
Bipartisan ignorance. Bipartisan psychosis. Bipartisan imperialism.
Imagine spending years being outraged about very meagre and still unproven Kremlin meddling in the US election, then literally applauding the US attempt at installing a far-right thug as leader of Venezuela.
Western exceptionalism/supremacism really is a truly evil thing.
America is effectively a one party state, and that party is one of war and oligarchy.
The Democrats support Trump’s planet-killing free trade deals, his monstrous military budget, and cheer him on as he assassinates foreign leaders, sanctions countries to death, and orchestrates far-right coups in foreign countries.
But the media ignores all of that and instead focuses on Democratic Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, tearing up a bit of paper.
The Democrats cannot effectively oppose Trump, because they support most of his worst policies. So they have to resort to meaningless theatrics. Hence why Trump's approval is going up - now at 49%, which is higher than Obama's at this same point in his presidency.
And of course, the liberal media gladly plays along with their act, still attempting to fool the naive into believing that they have a choice at the ballot box.

Pete Buttigieg
Sadly, Americans missed out on getting their first ever woman-killing woman president (Hillary Clinton).
But don’t worry - they might soon get their first ever gay-killing gay president!
US/CIA interventions around the world have killed millions, and those interventions are generally to support/install far-right, extremely anti-gay/anti-women regimes.
E.g. Honduras 2009 coup, led to this.
More about Pete Buttigieg here.

The fight begins in the US
In the Iowa caucus...
The votes started coming in and Bernie Sanders was predicted to win comfortably.
Establishment pick, Joe Biden, was in fifth.
Then... technical malfunction!
Incompetence or foul play? Who knows.
But whatever the case - the folks who assassinate and wage war against left-wing leaders and movements around the world, ain’t about to sit back and allow one to come to power back home.
If what happened tonight had happened in a target state of US Empire - a country not under the influence of western capital (Iran, Venezuela, Russia, etc) - western media and politicians would be screaming ‘corruption/tyranny!’, orchestrating a coup, and calling for sanctions/war.
At least things like this encourage more Americans to wake up to the complete joke that is their ‘democracy’!

Stop lionizing the EU!
I voted Remain, (hoping for reform), and am distraught about continued Tory rule, and about the fact they now have their mandate for a right-wing, pro-US Brexit, but please god can we stop lionising the EU?
It’s literally been backing/complicit in far-right/fascist movements, from Bolivia to Syria to Venezuela to Ukraine, etc.
Not to mention everything else listed below.

Bloody Muslims!
There's been a terror attack in Streatham, London.
Bloody Muslims!
Let’s all forget about the fact the British state loves the ISIS-supporting extremists in Saudi Arabia, and allows them to promote their poisonous Wahhabi ideology throughout the UK.
Let’s forget about the fact the British state has been complicit in the US's support for extremist terror groups in Syria, Libya, etc, and allowed/encouraged UK-based extremists to travel to those countries, to advance the cause of western imperialism.
Let’s forget about the fact the British state has waged multiple oil wars and contributed to the destruction of entire majority-Muslim countries, inevitably leading to radicalisation and anti-western hatred.
Let’s forget about the fact that back home the Tories have cut services and destroyed communities, leading to hopelessness and despair, and seemingly leading to the early release of clearly dangerous people.
Just bloody blame those evil Muslims! And forget about all the extreme barbarism of western Christians/atheists etc.

Media platforms the far-right and demonizes the left
If only we had a media system that gave less airtime to people like Nigel Farage (and useless centrists), and more to people like Russell Brand - watch here. Things would be very different.
Instead, we have a media that regularly gave a platform to the former, and that attacked and demonised the latter, (and almost made him quit having anything to do with politics).
Anyone speaking the truth and calling for remotely radical lefty politics to take on the powerful and redistribute their power and wealth, is to be outcasted. Fascism preferable.
