These ‘liberal’ talking heads we see decrying Trump don’t actually hate him. For them, and the corporatocracy they serve, he has been the greatest gift.
He’s enabled them to market themselves as the good guys; the ‘saviours of democracy’ etc.
He’s been extremely useful as justification for yet more surveillance and more cracking down on all dissent.
He’s been great for liberal TV ratings.
He’s cut corporate tax and mostly served the interests of the military-industrial complex.
He’s overseen a further rise in corporate power.
