This just highlights how insane it is to let billionaires run the world!
Following decades of neoliberal privatization, our leaders, even if they wanted to respond appropriately to something like this, are powerless to the will of the billionaires and corporations that profit from the kind of ecocidal plunder we see in the Amazon.
Only a socialist movement can change things! We need to take control.
