Whether you believe 'asymptomatic transmission' is a thing or not*, the fear of it is having tragic consequences. It'll have a disastrous impact on human health, if we go on like this. Life, including human life, requires - and thrives in - connection, community, diversity. Separation will kill us. Unless new technology/robots come to our savior, I suppose. Is that really what people want?
We're pretty much doing everything we possibly can to ensure that we wipe ourselves out as quickly as possible. Are there some people in powerful places who're aware of this, I wonder? Are they okay with it? Just as they seem to be okay with the general toxification of the planet, that is causing so much disease and death (including Covid)? There is a common understanding amongst elites, and now amongst the general public (thanks to propaganda?), that there are too many humans on the planet, after all...
Don't we all intuitively know that we're on the wrong path?

*My current understanding is that asymptomatic transmission is effectively like natural vaccination; i.e. beneficial, not harmful! Read this, and the study it links to.
*This study found it to barely be a thing. We shut down the world, forced healthy people to stay home, screwing over millions of people, because of a 0.06% risk?!
