US kills ISIS leader who was being protected by previously US-backed rebels

ISIS leader, Al Baghdadi, who the US has just been boasting about assasinating, was being protected by one of the anti-Assad ‘rebel’ groups in Syria.

For the last 8 years, the US has sent literally $billions of support to these jihadist ‘rebel’ groups, in their proxy war against Assad, (insisting that they were ‘moderate’).

The most evil crime that I can think of has been committed in Syria these last few years, resulting in hundreds of thousands of deaths, and, thanks to immense propaganda in the western press, hardly anyone is aware of it.

And it isn’t even anything new. The west did the same thing in Afghanistan in the 1980s, which led directly to the emergence of al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden.

What will it take to end this monstrous cycle of violence that is all about  stealing resources and making profit for western corporations?
