Chris Williamson - the only MP serving the public interest

We have just one MP in the UK right now who is actually willing to do his job and stand up for the public interest against secretive, predatory power. His name is Chris Williamson - here he is speaking out in support of persecuted journalist, Julian Assange. He is the only MP currently doing so.

Chris has been attacked by the media and is currently suspended from the Labour Party. That’s what happens to you if you stand up to power.

EU Equates Communism with Fascism

The European Parliament has condemned communism as equivalent to Nazism.

Whilst capitalism fueled and supported fascism (as it continues to do), the Communist government of the Soviet Union defeated it, and had western capitalists agreed to an anti-Nazi alliance with the Soviets earlier on, catastrophic war might have been averted.

If not for communist revolutions, we’d also probably have less rights; worker’s rights, women’s rights, etc; The Russian Revolution inspired oppressed people all around the world to seek liberation in the workplace, and from fascist, capitalist dictatorships and colonial rule.

Yes, it often led to a different kind of authoritarianism, but to equate communism with the fascism it defeated, is sickening; a grave insult to all who were tortured and killed doing so.

If anything, it is surely capitalism that should be equated with fascism, as the two often go hand in hand; it was that which helped give rise to the Nazis, and numerous fascist regimes around the world since (Pinochet, Saudi Arabia, etc etc). It is that which disempowers the masses and destroys lives and the land.

Meanwhile, communist Cuba, following liberation from a capitalist dictatorship, eradicates homelessness and illiteracy, provides world class healthcare (at home and abroad), supports liberation movements around the world, etc; all whilst being under covert and economic attack from capitalist USA.

Tories to sanction 'authoritarian regimes' - like themselves?

‘We will impose sanctions on authoritarian regimes that arrest dissidents!’, says authoritarian regime  that arrests dissidents (Julian Assange) and supports and gives weapons to the most tyrannical regimes in the world (Saudi Arabis, etc).
Translation: ‘we will do even more to ensure that western capitalists maintain and expand their control of the world’s resources’.

Liberal Democrats? Liberal Imperialists

Many like to think that the Liberal Democrats are anti-war and pro-international law, because they opposed the Iraq War. Total nonsense.

In 2013, Jo Swinson and the rest of them, voted to allow the UK to intervene in Syria without getting UN approval.

They could not give a damn about international law. They support an illegal ‘humanitarian’ interventionism, that is really just a smokescreen for securing access to resources and general war profiteering.

And now with the likes of Blairite Chuka Umunna, and several Tories, in their party, they are even more of a danger.

And let's not forget that the chemical attack in Syria that the Lib Dems wanted to respond to, most likely did not happen as we were told. And let's not forget that the west has been waging a multi-$billion proxy war against Syria, via support for jihadist groups

By their support for this bill, the Lib Dems demonstrated that they were/are in support of that proxy war, which has killed half a million people and displaced many more.

They clearly demonstrated that they will willingly fall for war propaganda that advances the interests of western elites and corporations; the US EmpireMeanwhile, they'll mostly ignore the crimes of that Empire

They clearly demonstrated that they have no interest in creating a just, peaceful global system based on cooperation, diplomacy, and international law.

(Jo Swinson is also an open admirer of blood-drenched neocon, Hillary Clinton).

There is nothing 'moderate' about centrists!

At the Liberal Democrat party conference, former Labour MP, and now Lib Dem 'Shadow Foreign Secretary', Chuka Umunna, has condemned Jeremy Corbyn for his foreign policy positions, including his history of opposing NATO’s horrific imperialism.
Just yesterday, NATO boss Jens Stoltenberg, disgustingly said that it is the Iranians who have destabilised the Middle East - it is of course NATO and their Gulf proxies who’ve done that, via decades of for-profit wars/covert interventions for oil/Empire, that have terrorized, killed and displaced millions of innocents, (and led to more blowback terrorism).
Supporting NATO means blaming Muslims in Iran for the monstrous crimes of white supremacist, western imperialismIt means supporting unending spending on destructive militarism (so that a few elites and corporations can profit). It means supporting imperialist wars for US Empire - see NATO's war on Serbia, see NATO’s war on Libya, see NATO’s support for the jihadist-dominated uprising in Syria, see NATO's support for ultra nationalists in Ukraine, see NATO’s aggressive expansion surrounding Russia, see NATO’s persecution of dissidents who try to expose their crimes (Julian Assange/Chelsea Manning), etc.
Centrist politicians who detest Jeremy Corbyn’s anti-imperialist foreign policy positions are not ‘moderate’. They are far-right, sociopathic imperialists and genocide deniers; the neoliberal, western-dominated system that they impose onto the world, is destroying humanity and our environment in so many ways. But we are subjected to $trillions of elite propaganda, from cradle to grave, to disguise this fact.

Wake up! There is little between modern day ‘liberalism’ and fascism.

Lib Dems can get away with anything

In recent weeks, the Lib Dems have...
- welcomed hard right, homophobic Tories into their party
- said austerity (which has killed 130,000 people) should continue
- criticised Cameron for calling an EU referendum despite the fact they did so before him
- pledged to completely ignore that democratic referendum
- ludicrously decided that they are the official opposition party, (with Chuka Umuna & co now calling themselves shadow ministers).
- sang a song at their conference with lyrics ‘Tony Blair can f*ck off and die’ (imagine Corbyn supporters did this!)

- had an MP say that he'd prefer a no deal exit from the EU rather than risk a bit of social democracy under a Corbyn-led Labour government
Where is the MSM outrage and mockery about all this?

Liberals Call For EU Empire

Here is a clip of EU liberal hero, Guy Verhofstadt, calling for a European Empire.

And they said it was only Brexiteers who were obsessed with empire!

If you support a European Empire then - based on current form - what you support is more murderous economic warfare against socialist governments in the global south, and more arms sales to genocidal regimes like Saudi Arabia (the EU hasn’t even managed to ban these sales, let alone sanction Saudi).

Imagine how much more aggressive the EU could get once it is even more centralised, with its own military?

It seems highly possible that a United States of Europe could end up being similarly as violent and destructive as the United States of America has been.

Re Brexit, the UK can either be a servant of the US Empire, or a servant - with a bit of a say - of this burgeoning European Empire, (which itself is - to an extent - a servant of US Empire). Obviously the latter is the less shit option, but fuck me, the future looks bleak whatever happens! It’ll take mass movements throughout Europe to prevent this trajectory towards a militarised, imperialist empire. Is that remotely realistic?

We need to overturn the deranged and destructive economic system that is at the root of the imperialism, fast!

Humanity is good!

‘Beneath the huge layers of conditioning there is something really beautiful’.

Twitter Blocks Cuba - Neoliberal Tyranny

Twitter has banned these Cuban twitter accounts.
Is it any wonder that some countries decide to ban western social media sites, when they demonstrate so clearly that they are, like the traditional media, aligned with western imperialism?
Best we stop going on about authoritarianism in China or any other target state of US Empire, and start resisting the global, corporate tyranny of neoliberalism!

Imagine 9/11 Happened in Russia

If there was a major terror attack in Russia, which Putin proceeded to use as justification for a series of oil wars, you can be damn sure that western media, governments, and think tanks would scream ‘false flag! Putin did it!’. In fact, they’ve already done this, both in Russia, following the 1999 apartment bombings, and in Venezuela, following an attempted drone attack on Venezuelan President, Maduro. Western pundits suggested that both of these events may have been ‘false flag’ operations.

Maybe the official story of 9/11 is true, maybe it isn’t. Personally, I prefer not to spend too much time thinking about it, because most important is that we highlight that, if it really was an al Qaeda operation, then it was a direct consequence of US imperialism in Afghanistan in the 1980s, when the CIA supported the Mujahideen - including Osama Bin Laden - which later gave birth to al Qaeda. And that it was used to justify further imperialism, in Afghanistan again, Iraq, and many other countries - the so-called ‘war on terror’ - which has killed millions, wrecked entire countries, caused refugee crises, fuelled more blowback attacks, and of course, been highly profitable for western weapons contractors, oil companies, etc.

But there is nothing wrong with questioning what exactly happened on 9/11. There are plenty of reasons to do so; logic, for one - who benefited from the attack? (See end of previous paragraph).

The latest reason is a four year investigation by the University of Alaska, which has concluded that World Trade Centre 7 - the third tower, not hit by a plane, that came down that day - was not brought down by fire, as the government sponsored investigation concluded.

Below this blog post are some links to various other bits of information that I’ve come across over the years. Some of it is from ‘mainstream’ western media, though of course, in general this ‘mainstream’ media has suppressed and screamed ‘conspiracy theorist!’ at anyone who has questioned the government narrative too much, (all whilst cheering for the ensuing wars of course). As mentioned at the beginning, if this was Russia, or any other target country of US Empire/western capitalists, the media would be doing the opposite - THEY would be the ‘conspiracy theorists’.

Don't Blame Labour For Brexit Mess

We are where we are with Brexit because the Tories refused to work with Labour on an exit deal (that protected workers/environment rights etc) - even after they lost their majority in 2017. And because Remainiacs never accepted the referendum result.

It’s totally unfair to blame Labour for the mess we’re in. They’re the only party that’s been remotely sensible during all this shit, sincerely trying to bring both sides together, and heal the deep divisions we have. They’re only now backing a second referendum as a last resort.

Mugabe Dead - Zimbabwe and Western Imperialism

Mugabe may have been an a-hole, but is that why Zimbabwe was sanctioned by the US/UK/EU, leading to the collapse of their economy? Err no - where’s the sanctions for Saudi Arabia?

It’s because they dared to disobey their white capitalist masters. Global tyrants of the US Empire made them suffer for it. Pure racism and imperialism. And nothing has changed - see Venezuela etc.

Also, note how pretty much the entire mainstream media has completely ignored the economic warfare waged against Zimbabwe, in their articles about Mugabe's death, just as they often do in articles about Venezuela etc.

Hong Kong, Neoliberalism and Western Imperialism

Propaganda

The US/western neoliberals put $trillions into advancing their interests around the world. The 'mainstream' media mostly ignores this fact - instead, it is a vehicle for it. We humans have proven ourselves time and again to be highly susceptible to manipulation via propaganda. See all the colour revolutions. See how loved Obama is despite his appalling record. See how loved Trump is by many. See how so many were fooled into thinking Saddam Hussain was in league with al Qaeda. See how the French have gone from seeing the Soviet Union as responsible for winning WW2, to seeing the US as responsible. See how people were manipulated into believing that it was necessary for the US to drop nuclear bombs on Japan (it wasn't). Etc etc etc. We've been manipulated into supporting elite agendas since the inception of the press.

It is vital to recognise this when trying to figure out what’s going on in the world. We’re naturally trusting, and that is taken advantage of by a media that is essentially a PR machine for western capitalists.

Hong Kong Protests

Protestors in Hong Kong, whose lives are being screwed by neoliberalism - just like everyone else living under the ideology around the world - have been enthusiastically accepting help from the most extreme neoliberal monsters in the world, like Donald Trump, John Bolton and Marco Rubio

Isn't this mental?

The people of Hong Kong have legitimate grievances and a right to protest, obviously. But to what extent is this protest movement, or at least - the direction it has taken - a result of US/capitalist backing and manipulation? Who knows exactly; It just seems very odd to me that the protestors seem to largely be focusing on opposing China, when surely they should be focusing on opposing neoliberal capitalism at least as much - instead they actively seek help from extreme neoliberals in the US!

And it also seems odd to me that it was the extradition bill that sparked the protests. This bill (now scrapped thanks to the protests) was to target corrupt criminalsHong Kong is a corrupt, neoliberal playground. Are the protestors eager for criminality to continue? I thought they were pro-law and order/democracy? I know that the argument is that the bill was just symbolic of China encroachment, but still, it seems like an odd thing to have sparked a pro-democracy protest.

Western Liberals Equally Irrational

Thanks to the media coverage that the Hong Kong protests have recieved, western liberals are loudly cheering it on. These westerners, who show little interest in protesting authoritarianism/neoliberalism at home, suddenly support Trump-backed, violent protests abroad. Meanwhile, they mostly ignore all other protest movements around the world that are against US-puppet/neoliberal regimes.

And of course, they ignore western imperialism in general. Where is their loud opposition at current US coup attempts and murderous sanctions against democratic socialist Venezuela? Where was their opposition to the US sending $billions of support to an insurgency in Syria that they knew was dominated by jihadists, resulting in 500,000+ deaths? Where is their loud opposition to western support of Saudi Arabia and their genocidal war on Yemen? Etc.

And where is their support for persecuted and imprisoned journalist, Julian Assange, whose groundbreaking journalistic work has been trying to put an end to the above atrocities?

It seems that the capitalist, pro-US Empire media still has too many people under the thumb.

The Bigger Picture

Whatever your thoughts regarding the Hong Kong protests, it is essential that we oppose meddling by the US Empire. The US/neoliberal agenda for global domination in pursuit of power and profit has already done untold damage, and their targeting of China (and Russia) could literally lead to nuclear war. Hong Kong is another front line in that agenda. I do empathise with Hong Kongers who've been westernized following 150 years of colonization, and who now fear future integration. But for the sake of the planet, we must oppose US imperialism, and support transition to a multi-polar world order

In my opinion, the only sensible solution to this situation, is for western countries to offer full citizenship to Hong Kongers who oppose the reintegration, so they can flee and resettle in the US, UK, etc, if they wish.

Neoliberalism is Authoritarian Too

China's system may be a one-party state, but the neoliberal capitalist system that they have in Hong Kong and that the US imposes on the world is also extremely anti-democratic. It disempowers the people and empowers a few elites/corporations who care mostly about short term profit, and who corrupt our governments, and dominate over every aspect of our lives. It’s unbelievably harmful, to humanity and the planet. And as evidenced here, Hong Kong is very much an authoritarian client of the US. From what I’ve seen, the protesters in Hong Kong are worryingly oblivious to the neoliberal system that’s screwing them. They wouldn’t be seeking help from the most extreme neoliberals in the world if they were. Maybe that’s just a minority and most of the protestors are protesting the system? I can’t really tell for sure, (though this is disturbing). I *can* tell that the west, as has happened so many times before, is fueling/attempting to co-opt the movement for their own ends - to ensure neoliberalism remains. And god knows to what lengths they’re going to exactly. Maybe we’ll find out in 50 years time when CIA secrets are revealed? It seems clear that the US wants to provoke a violent response from China in order to escalate tensions and justify aggression. This is standard US imperial practice; it is nothing new.

Whilst not a 'liberal demoracy', China’s economic system has lifted nearly a billion people out of poverty in an amazingly short period of time. They achieved this by maintaining a huge amount of state ownership and central planning. Meanwhile, in neoliberal USA, real wages are at 1970s levels, 1 in 5 children in poverty, half a million are homeless, 80% are living pay-check to pay-check, life expectancy is declining, there's drug and suicide epidemics, and every US government continues to wage murderous and ecocidal multi-$billion wars, and economic sanctions, on much of the world. All whilst the rich get richer. China has created a middle class whilst the US has decimated theirs. China has focussed on fighting poverty, investing in renewable energy and in green transport, in reforesting, and in building infrastructure, whilst the US has focussed on waging expensive, destructive and murderous oil wars etc. This is free market capitalism vs state-managed capitalism (or ‘socialism with Chinese characteristics’ as China calls it).

I am not trying to argue in favor of China's overall system - I hate the authoritarianism (although name a country that wasn't authoritarian, when developing? At least China isn't developing by colonizing and plundering the world! And their paranoia is hardly surprising, given the history of western colonialism in China).

But the corporate tyranny that comes from neoliberalism is also a kind of authoritarianism. And China's state-planned economic system is evidently far superior to the west's unbelievably destructive neoliberal economic system, in reducing poverty and improving standard of living. Hong Kong protestors need to realise that the neoliberal west is not their friend. Their problems, in terms of poverty, inability to buy a home, living in debt, etc, will not be helped by working with those who espouse and impose the ideology that causes all of those problems.

And westerners need to wise up to neoliberal imperialism, and the media that promotes it, FAST. The future is bleak if this doesn't happen.

(Link to my thread on twitter about the protests - here).
