Covid: What is being ignored?

How much of COVID-19 policy is being driven by profiteering big pharma? Is it possible that this is why a common drug like hydroxychloroquine is being shunned? Corporate media is currently calling anyone a conspiracy theorist who promotes it as a potential remedy to early-stage Covid infection, and social media is censoring those who do so; despite, from what I can tell, the science being very much up for debate - read here

Many countries have been prescribing the medication during the pandemic, including Cuba. Is it being kept from us, so that big pharma can profit as much as possible from an upcoming vaccine?

I'm going to keep a log here of instances of censorship, and of information/studies that aren't making the headlines.

Covid: Should we fear a 'new normal'?

(I wrote this a few weeks ago).‪

I rarely comment on Covid anymore, because I‘ve become conflicted. I recognize that it is a deadly disease, but I do sympathize with those who fear a 'new normal', in which we live in constant fear, socially distancing and covering our faces from each other. Is living like this really worth it? Is it really 'living'?

Are we pinning our hopes on a vaccine that might never come? Is policy being influenced by profiteers? Is it unreasonable and overly conspiratorial to be concerned by the fact that Bill Gates, who profits from vaccines, is the biggest funder of the World Health Organization? (And by the fact that he and others are taking advantage of the crisis and profiteering from things like this).

‪Is the response to the virus doing more harm than the virus itself would’ve done? (Increase in poverty, increase in non-Covid related deaths, destruction of small businesses). Was this inevitable, or a consequence of neoliberal incompetence, and globalization?

Is the transfer of wealth and power upwards, that the lockdowns have enabled, going to make it even harder to escape that neoliberal, globalized system, (which is also the root cause of new diseases, via the corporate plunder of nature)?

It seems anyone who doesn’t 100% agree with the strategy of locking down, or at least, heavy social distancing, until a vaccine is created, is instantly demonised as a right-wing sociopath. It’s funny that those doing this demonizing are often (neo)liberals, who’ve never shown much interest in putting people before profit previously! (Their entire ideology is all about the opposite of this). But then, as mentioned, it is definitely too simplistic to say that their Covid strategy is a case of putting people before profit. Many corporations and billionaires are doing fantastically, whilst small businesses struggle and millions lose their livelihoods.

It’s not just neoliberals; it’s the left. From Cubans to Jeremy Corbyn, most are on board with the strategy of long term lockdowns. I fear that they’re looking at things too simplistically. But I do recognize that there are no easy solutions here, and nobody wants to be the one to ask the kind of questions I'm asking.

In any case, the fact that we‘re now in a world in which it looks like we will all increasingly have to wear masks, and stay away from each other, to protect ourselves from all the diseases that come from our mistreatment of the natural world, and urbanization etc, is very depressing. This crisis should be a wake up call.

.....

Since writing the above, I have been listening to a lot of interviews with a doctor called Zach Bush. His take on the virus, and on our approach to health in general, is very different, but very compelling: Read and watch here.

Coronavirus - are we doing things all wrong?

Watch this interview with Zach Bush.

We’re focussing on stamping out diseases, rather than on addressing the root cause of their proliferation, and on the reasons behind our being badly affected by them - our disconnection from, and destruction of, the natural world, (and thus, the weakening of our immune systems). This war mentality is on course to cause all life on earth to go extinct.

Try and ignore the clickbait title and the ostentatious Brian Rose (the interviewer), and listen to the whole two hour interview.

Zach is not claiming there’s a big conspiracy. He’s claiming our understanding of science is very outdated and reductionistic.

Obviously I'm not a doctor or a scientist, but I just like keeping an open mind about everything, and I’ve been concerned ever since finding out that industrial/chemical farming-advocate, Bill Gates, is the biggest funder of the World Health Organisation, (or soon to be, anyway). It seems odd to me that there isn’t more concern about this and the influence it will be having over global health policy and our general philosophy on things.

Plumbing eradicated disease, not vaccines?

Read: How Plumbing Eradicated Disease, Not Vaccines

And: Aid in reverse: how poor countries develop rich countries

If only billionaires and corporations would stop exploiting the global south, and enable the exploited to improve their sanitation. Rather than continuing that exploitation and vaccinating them all, to suppress the diseases caused by the lack of sanitation!

Why don’t we address problems at their root? Because that would basically involve destroying the entire capitalist system?

We're being poisoned by the same entities that poised Holocaust victims

Read this: Bayer and The Holocaust

The corporations that created the poisons for chemical weapons of war, and The Holocaust, went on to poison our food system as well, with pesticides - particularly the chemical, glysophate.

All justified by a lie that we need industrial scale farming to feed the world. The reality is that small scale, organic farms are far more efficient - and good for the planet, rather than catastrophic for it.

(Should we blame the corporations for this, or the economic system that encourages sociopathy; that requires them to just think about the bottom line?).

.....

Does this explain why there has been such a rise in cancer rates? In chronic diseases? In autism? In infertility?

Why are these questions barely being asked? Are we just going to stay silent as we go extinct?

.....

I'm going to keep a list here of all studies I come across about glysophate. I get the impression that this is a situation like we had with the tobacco industry, in that 'the science' has been very corrupted by industry influence. So as yet, there isn't a massive amount of research proving that glysophate is linked to disease. But there is some:

Imagine Russia and China Did What NATO Does

Imagine Russia and China formed a military alliance - their version of NATO - then started waging wars around the world, and doing covert coups in France, Mexico, Canada, etc, installing fascist puppet regimes, building 800 military bases, putting troops near US borders, pulling out of arms treaties, and then imposing economic sanctions on the US and the UK.

How would the US and the UK respond?

We’ve been conditioned to see Putin as the imperialist menace, when it really could not be more obvious that the US/NATO is the menace.

Read here: US Wars and Hostile Actions, a List.

Here: John Pilger, Why the Rise of Fascism is Again The Issue

And here: Russia’s got a point: The U.S. broke a NATO promise.

Some common accusations:

Putin invaded Georgia! Putin invaded Crimea! Putin destroyed Syria!

The reality:

- an EU-backed report found the US-backed regime in Georgia responsible.

- the US supported a coup in Ukraine that empowered neo-Nazis, so Crimeans voted (overwhelmingly) to rejoin Russia.

- Russia fought US-backed sectarian extremists (al Qaeda and other groups) in Syria. Had they not done so, a secular country would have fallen to those extremists.

It’s vital that we debunk this myth that Russia is a threat to us - ditto China. The evidence points to Russian foreign policy being defensive, rather than aggressive. And unlike the west, with its nonsense ‘rules based order’, Russia has demonstrated a far greater respect for international law.

What Russia actually threatens is the global hegemony of western corporations, banks, oligarchs. This is why Russia, like any other country that stands in the way of that hegenomy, is demonized. (Plus, having a bogeyman is obviously great for weapons contractors, security services, and to justify more authoritarian measures to eradicate civil liberties and have more control over the populace).

We should all want to end that hegemony. Western exceptionalism is a monstrous, supremacist, racist myth. Western imperialism is literally destroying the world, via devastating wars, and the imposition of neoliberal economics and industrial agriculture. (At least Russia is going organic!). And now, once again, it leads us closer to nuclear Armageddon. We will never be able to live in harmony with nature - which we absolutely must do - with this incredibly malevolent, plunderous force in the world.

The current, ecocidal economic system is reliant on these myths for its survival. So none of the above can be written in the media or spoken by our politicians. They’d be fired/relentlessly attacked - see the treatment of Jeremy Corbyn, for being ‘anti-west’. A huge amount of cognitive dissonance and sociopathy is required by all in positions of power and influence.

Late stage capitalism is proving to be very totalitarian. Truth and dissent not allowed. We must speak out now, whilst we can. The internet provided us with an opportunity for a massive expansion in consciousness, but it is increasingly being taken away from us, with information that threatens the status quo being filtered out, just as it is in the traditional media.

We can change things if we become more aware, and if we come together and demand change. A new system and a new world is possible.

Why Viruses Are Crucial To Life On This Planet - Zach Bush

I've just discovered Zach Bush. He's a physician who basically seems to argue that most human illnesses are as a result of our not living in harmony with Mother Earth.

Here, he argues that viruses are crucial to life, and have been for millions of years. We wouldn't have evolved without them. In the case of COVID19, he argues, that the deadly reaction is not due to exposure to the virus itself, but is actually due to the combination of exposure to the virus plus exposure to glysophate (pesticides), air pollution, and many common medications. These meddle with our bodies' natural ability to handle it.

There are many other mind-blowing claims in this podcast, which I will be looking into! I'll update below.

.....

I've decided I'm going to keep a log here of all 'alternative medicine' info that I come across. I've become more interested in this, since watching this documentary, about indigenous people in Columbia, who live to a very old age, without modern medicine, and free from industrial agriculture. Could it be that all our health problems are ultimately a result of our disconnection from, and plunder of, the earth?

The 'Russia Report'

A sane, informed society would have one look at these ‘experts’ and then take the ‘Russia Report’ about as seriously as a report claiming to have found proof that the earth is flat.

The purpose of this report is not to end oligarchical influence.

Quite the opposite: the purpose of it is to demonize Russia and fuel the western oligarchy’s war on that country (and on the rest of the world not yet under its control).

Here's some info about those 'experts':

Christopher Steele: ex-spy who wrote the ludicrous and discredited ‘Steele dossier’.

Xinjiang, China: Human Rights Abuses, Hypocrisy and Propaganda

There are currently calls for western governments to sanction China’s government over their treatment of Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang.

Some 'whataboutism':

Nearly 1% of US adults (disproportionately black/brown people) are incarcerated, and doing slave prison labor. The US has a prison in an occupied region of Cuba where, for years, they took Muslims from all around the world, to be tortured.

Where are the demands for sanctions on the US regime? For the above, and for all the other unspeakably horrific crimes of the US - like the constant imperialism that has killed/displaced/maimed tens of millions of people? Obama and then Trump have just spent years sending $billions of support to ethnic-cleansing ‘rebels’ in Syria, and waging genocidal war on Yemen, allied with fascist Saudi Arabia. And western sanctions continue to kill thousands in Venezuela, Iran, etc.

Those who have been silent about this, or worse - supportive of it - suddenly care deeply about Muslims in China?

What exactly is going on in Xinjiang?

I don’t know how bad exactly things are for the Uyghur people - it’s very difficult to figure out what the truth is when it comes to alleged crimes of designated enemies of the west, given the extremely powerful propaganda system we’re subjected to, via the media, and assortment of NATO funded NGOs and think tanks.

I do know for a fact that China is currently being demonized, just as any state has been throughout history that stands in the way of total western hegemony. But obviously, this doesn't mean they're not guilty of human rights abuses. It just means we're being made to focus on certain abuses, to gain our consent for imperial agendas.

From what I can tell, the Chinese government *is* responding extremely harshly, following terror attacks by a minority of Uyghurs. My understanding is that China has been attempting to assimilate people in the Xinjiang region for many decades, and that this has eventually resulted in horrific terrorism, (seemingly fueled by an increasing presence of Wahhabism in the region). And now, following that terrorism, the government is more forcefully trying to assimilate them, by sending them, on mass, to be 're-educated' in what are being described in the west as concentration camps. This is all worthy of our opposition, but the problem is... those in the west who’re most loudly decrying it, have supported the west's ‘war on terror’, which has killed countless innocents in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, etc, (and involved allying with and supporting Wahhabism!). The intentions of those in power in the west are, obviously, not good. We must be careful not to assist in their agenda.

It seems both the west and China are ignoring the root causes of terrorism, and both have responded to it in such a manner that will likely only fuel it. But, I think it should probably be recognized that destroying entire Muslim states in order to steal their resources, causing the deaths of millions, is surely a worse reaction than forced 're-education' camps.

Anyone who points out any of this will of course be accused of whataboutism and treated with disdain. We’re not allowed to point out obvious hypocrisy and bias, the purpose of which is to fuel more conflict.

The main problem we have is that the entire system right now is not set up to end human rights abuses. It’s set up to advance the interests of western corporations/banks. Human rights abuses in this system are just a weapon, selectively highlighted, (sometimes exaggerated/fabricated), to enable the worst human rights abusers of all, to continue violently capturing the world and its resources.

What's being omitted in western media?

We're barely told about all the horrific terrorism in Xinjiang, (before the government snapped and cracked down). Remember how we were played the 9/11 attacks over and over again? Yet the same media that had that on repeat is silent regarding terrorism in China.

The media is consistently manufacturing our consent, for the bogus ‘war on terror’, and now for the hybrid war on China.

Mosques built during Muslim genocide?

The number of Mosques in Xinjiang has increased dramatically in recent years, which somewhat undermines the narrative, peddled by some, that they are trying to eradicate all Islam.

Who's the source?

I’m fascinated to understand why the media’s most prominent source for reports about the Ugyhur’s plight, is a man funded by the CIA, who thinks homosexuality and gender equality are destroying capitalism. Surely there must be more reliable sources than this?

To surmise:

It’s just so absurd that all the actors who’ve supported and enabled the west’s war on the Middle East, along with all the other imperialist pursuits, suddenly care for Muslims in Xingiang, or for human rights in general. It's sad that many still fall for these blatant propaganda campaigns. As stated, human rights abuses are just a weapon for western capitalists, to advance imperial interests. This should be clear to all by now.

Whatever the situation in Xingiang, it really couldn’t be more obvious that China is being demonized. It’s just completely irrational, the amount of condemnation China is getting, comparatively to the condemnation the west and its (often fascist) puppet states get for all our/their incomprehensibly monstrous crimes - they generally get minimized, justified, or ignored, rather than condemned.

This demonization should be our main concern. Rapacious American capitalism is clearly pushing us into a new cold war. It cannot accept a multi-polar world order. I am not saying we shouldn't express solidarity with the Ughurs, but our priority must be to demand diplomacy and peace, not imperialist sanctions, and tensions between nuclear-armed superpowers. Those most deserving of sanctions are those who're now calling for them to be imposed on China.

The System Is Making Us Infertile

Most men in the US and Europe could be infertile by 2060, according to a new study.

The current neoliberal, imperialist, corporate system - whatever you want to call it - is literally ending humanity wherever it takes hold, yet this is barely a news story. (Because 'the news' is just a propaganda machine, for maintaining the status quo; for maintaining and advancing this life-killing system).

The main aspect of that system that is doing this? The industrial food system. It is ruining the health of the planet, with chemicals, GMOs, monocultures, and thus is it is ruining the health of all the planet's inhabitants. The planet is alive, and needs to be cared for and nurtured. But the 'civilized' western culture has increasingly treated it like something there for us to exploit. We've become disconnected from nature, as is required with an economic system that requires its plunder for perpetual profit and growth.

The planet is well on its way to becoming a deforested desert wasteland. The super rich can see it, perhaps mainly subconsciously, so they invest in space travel, so that they/their descendents can flee. Meanwhile, the masses are distracted in consumerism and celebrity culture, and/or just fighting for survival; for scraps, as wealth is distributed upwards to the life-killing corporations and billionaires that now rule.

There is some hope - there are movements amongst the masses offering real solutions, all over the world. From what I understand, the movement for regenerative agriculture is probably the most important. This solution and others are described in this amazing book. But we are of course fighting against a political (and media) system that is useless and almost totally corrupted by the corporations. Until that changes; until we the people are in control of policy, how will we be able to bring about change on a grand scale? How will we transform away from this ecocidal, corporate system of perpetual economic growth on a finite planet? We don't have much time left.

.....

I really recommend listening to this great interview with Zach Bush.

.....

I suppose another way of looking at is... maybe if the western world wipes itself out, then those in other parts of the world, who've managed to avoid and resist the western system, might be able to rise up and heal the planet!

UK bans Huawei 5G - pandemic used as excuse to fuel the new cold war

UK to purge Huawei from 5G by 2027, angering China and pleasing Trump.

Britain invaded China and humiliated its people for 100+ years, in the Opium wars.

China then liberated itself, and instead of seeking revenge, seeks mutually beneficial business ties with the UK, (and has developed itself without colonizing and enslaving much of the world, as we did).

Now, the UK tells China to fuck off, (and we hilariously think we can still be an aggressor towards them! Well, I guess as an underling of the US Empire, we can be).

I really do despise my stupid, arrogant, delusional, pathetic, embarrassing country.

That a pandemic has been used to fuel a new Cold War against China, really should expose to everyone how monstrously insane the western system still is.

.....

And note how every single western media outlet is stating that the UK is banning Hauwei largely ‘because of China’s mishandling of Covid’, without stating what a complete load of hypocritical nonsense this accusation of ‘mishandling’ is. They handled it 1000x better than we did, and have been praised by the World Health Organization, and The Lancet. As ever, the media manufactures consent for militarism and war. Very dangerous times ahead, if we don't call it out and demand peace!

Don't let the 'centrist' war criminals rewrite history

Torturer, Jack Straw, has been interviewed by Sky News. Here we have another ‘centrist’ war criminal rewriting history, saying Corbyn was ‘driving Labour into a brick wall’.

The actual reality:

Corbyn’s Labour, in 2017, achieved huge gains, reviving the party following decline under Blair’s neoliberalism.

This was achieved despite constant undermining from the likes of Jack Straw in the PLP. (Labour would have won the election with ease, had those extremists united behind an agenda that sought to make the UK about as ‘radical’ as Finland).

Then Labour did horrendously in 2019, largely thanks to:

- Brexit polarisation, fuelled by the Blairite’s demand for a second referendum

- An incredibly vicious propaganda campaign against Corbyn

The far-right beats the centrists in Poland

The far-right have beaten the centrists in Poland.

Will centrists ever learn? They have no solutions to anything - in fact, it’s their neoliberal policies that directly fuels the anger which leaves people vulnerable to manipulation by the right.

They give the far-right an opportunity to offer false, and extremely dangerous, solutions.

We need left radicalism to defeat these neo-fascist movements, but it seems the centrists will never allow that.

.....

What will the EU and western 'human rights activists' be doing about this? Will Poland's increasing homophobia get the same level of condemnation, (and sanctions), as Russia's? Of course not! Because what matters most is that Poland remains part of the western capitalist empire. Human rights are just there to be weaponized when appropriate, to advance that empire.

Western 'civilization' has destroyed the earth. We need to learn from those who're yet to be 'civilized'.

What's 'civilized' about western civilization? We've almost destroyed the planet, with our system and its need for perpetual plunder and growth.

We need to learn from indigenous people around the world, who’ve so far managed to avoid western/capitalist colonization, and who still manage to live in harmony with nature.

Read here and here.

Also read this book.

And watch these two brilliant documentaries, about the indigenous Kogi people in Columbia, who've managed to survive despite European colonization. They invited a BBC film crew in, to document them for the first time, because they wanted to let us know that we non-indiginous colonizers - 'the younger brothers' - are destroying the earth.

Some quotes from them:

"Stop digging in the earth and stealing the gold... I don't know when the world will end, but their looting will destroy it. They've taken so much. They've taken the guardians, the sun, the stars; the world will go black... If no one was doing our work, the rain wouldn't fall from the sky. It would get hotter and hotter. The trees wouldn't grow and the crops wouldn't grow."

"The earth is weak and diseased. The animals die. The trees dry up, become ill. Many new illnesses will appear; there will be no cure or medicine for them, and the reason is that the younger brother is violating fundamental principles continually and totally; drilling, mining, extracting petrol, minerals; stripping away the world. This is destroying all order and damaging the world. BBC, tell the younger brother - open your eyes!".

“We had many things. Younger brother took it all. So now we sorrow. We are weak. We can see the earth is decaying. It is losing its strength because of your greed.”

"Younger brother must listen and stop causing damage, or nature herself will finish us off".

Message to socialist Labour members/supporters who backed the People's Vote

By refusing to acknowledge that Labour’s second referendum policy is what led to such a disastrous election result, you’re helping to enable the Blairite narrative that we lost due to leftist policies. You're helping to push the party back to the right.

You were misled by the Blairite-led PV campaign. The stats made clear that disrespecting the referendum result would be electorally suicidal, but arrogant, Corbyn-hating centrists ignored this, and manipulated much of the left into believing a second referendum would lead to election success. Perhaps due to delusion, perhaps due to them wanting rid of Corbyn, who knows.

And now, by not acknowledging the above, and by voting for and supporting Keir Starmer, you are continuing to let them use you. You’ve played into their hands at every step. Wake up. Don’t let them destroy what we achieved these last 5 years. (Maybe too late).

'Free Press' lol!

Former Tory Chancellor, George Osbourne steps down as editor of one of London's leading newspapers.

...to be replaced by David Cameron’s sister-in-law!

But the BBC doesn’t seem to think that particularly noteworthy. That the elite class control our ‘free press’, is just the norm.

Just imagine the tone of this article if this was Russia, Putin stepped down, and then his right-hand man, followed by his sister-in-law, took charge of one of Moscow’s leading newspapers.

Western exceptionalism is disgusting.

Monument to Tony Blair?! Wtf

Labour Shadow Foreign Secretary, Lisa Nandy, has suggested we build a monument to Tony Blair, for his work on environmentalism.

This is the blood-drenched, corrupt warmonger who literally helped destroy an entire region of the planet; not to mention his support for ecocidal free trade deals.

What. The Fuck.

And how is it not a sackable offense to call for a monument to someone who helped kill one million brown people in an illegal oil war? I thought Keir Starmer wanted to rid the party of racism?

What a sick farce everything is under capitalism. Instead of calling for war criminals to be prosecuted, we have an ‘opposition’ party that wants to celebrate them.

The current protest movements need to focus on the present, not just the past, because nothing really changed. We’re still ruled by racist imperialists, no different to those whose statues are currently being torn down by Black Lives Matter activists.

'Human Rights' Organizations

Watch this.

Stick 'human rights' on your organization, then get taken seriously by western media and governments - even when the organization is blatantly just a vehicle for advancing the interests of big business.

We really have to do ourselves what the media rarely does – check sources! When something is being reported, look up what NGO/think tank the info is coming from and check who is running and funding it.

The BBC and others cite, and invites representatives on, from various think tanks all the time, as though they’re just impartial sources of information, despite often being run by former US politicians, and funded by weapons manufacturers and big oil.
